Russian media have posted video of Vladimir Putin welcoming Kim Jong-un to the Vostochny cosmodrome on Wednesday, surrounded by officials and photographers. Kim thanked Putin for the invitation to visit Russia, ‘despite being busy’, while Putin said: ‘I am glad to see you’ and congratulated him on the 75th anniversary of North Korea’s founding day. The Russian president then showed him around the cosmodrome.
