Volodymyr Zelenskiy has visited Kherson after the destruction of the Kakhovka dam. The Ukrainian president met local officials to discuss the impact. Posting on his Telegram account, Zelenskiy said: ‘it is important to calculate the damage and allocate funds to compensate residents affected by the disaster’. Three people are known to have died on the Ukraine-controlled bank of the Dnipro River, while occupying authorities on the left bank have said at least five people were killed.
