Wagner fighters entered the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don in the early hours of Saturday, with UK defence intelligence saying they very likely captured its military headquarters.
The Wagner group’s commander Yevgeny Prigozhin announced his soldiers would retreat from Rostov on Saturday evening.
