A huge Ukrainian installation at the Burning Man festival in Nevada called the Black Cloud – a visual metaphor for the looming threat of war – was destroyed by a powerful storm which hit the site at the weekend.
High winds created a "wall of blowing dust" which reduced visibility to near zero.
People trying to get into the festival faced traffic jams of up to eight hours.
