WATCH: Areas of Germany, Greece and Turkey devastated as wildfires rage across Europe.

Fast moving wildfires spread across the south coast of the Greek island of Crete overnight prompting 1,500 to flee from hotels and their homes.

Several residents were treated for breathing difficulties but there were no immediate reports of serious injuries officials have confirmed.
