The former Prime Minister is giving evidence as the Covid inquiry looks to uncover the impact of the pandemic on children and young people.
Last week former education secretary Gavin Williamson told the Inquiry of failures to pre-plan. This significantly impacted schooling saying Boris Johnson "chose the NHS over children".
It’s the former PM’s second time at the inquiry, which he launched during his time in office to put the government’s actions "under a microscope"
Speaking at the inquiry in December 2023, Johnson apologised for the "pain and the loss" people experienced during the pandemic.
