President Donald Trump has criticised the United Nations, called climate change "a con job" and accused western nations of "going to hell" over their approach to immigration, during his address to the General Assembly.
It is the first time in five years that Trump has attended the UN’s general debate.
After a joke about the teleprompter not working, saying he would have to "speak more from the heart", Trump started his speech by telling more than 150 world leaders about his achievements.
Trump went on to tell the UN he was responsible for ending "seven un-endable wars" during his first seven months in office and that the UN was not living up to its potential.
