The King has released his annual Christmas Broadcast outside a Royal residence for the second time in his reign, choosing the historic site of Westminster Abbey.
The message, which was aired at 3pm on Christmas Day, was filmed in the Lady Chapel at the far eastern end of the Royal Peculiar.
Westminster Abbey has a long history as a site of pilgrimage which aligns with a key theme of the message.
