A 26-year old man who stabbed a nine-year-old girl to death as she played in the street has been jailed for life.
In 2022, Devididas Skebas randomly attacked Lilia Valutyte as she played outside the shop her mother worked in Boston, Lincolnshire.
A diagnosed schizophrenic, Skebas admitted killing the young girl, but denied murder, claiming diminished responsibility.
Today Lilia’s family saw her murderer put behind bars.
