
An amber health warning has been extended by 24 hours for several areas in England as UK weather records were broken again, with temperatures soaring to 35C.
Tuesday was the hottest day in May on record as temperatures have provisionally reached 35C at Heathrow and Kew Gardens in London, according to the Met Office.
