A 40-year-old British man is the only survivor of an Air India flight from India to Gatwick which crashed carrying 242 passengers.
Vishwash Kumar Ramesh from Leicester was sat in seat 11A when Flight AI171 got into difficulty moments after taking off at 1.38pm local time from Ahmedabad. His brother Ajay Kumar Ramesh is still unaccounted for.
His cousin Ravi Mahesh told ITV News: "We rang the administration back in India and they sent a list of people that were on the plane, and my cousins were on there.
