Iranian munitions have fallen on at least one community within Tel Aviv, and a total of 17 people were injured across the country, according to an Israeli police spokesperson.

The Israeli army ordered residents across the country to move into bomb shelters. The US military helped to intercept the missiles, a Washington official said.

It follows Israeli strikes on Tehran and other parts of Iran in an attempt to prevent its adversary getting any closer to building an atomic weapon.
