Donald Trump warned the chance of failure was twenty five percent but overall his comments through the day have been positive.
President Putin would like to make a deal, he said. He’s not going to mess around with me.
That agreement, Mr. Trump suggested, would come in a second meeting – held quickly – involving Ukraine’s President Zelenskyy as well.
In family homes across England, Wales and Northern Ireland record levels of A level students have been celebrating getting into their first choice university. Students who have been studying for B-Tech and T-levels also got their results today.
And this evening and tomorrow thoughts will rightly turn to the cruelty inflicted on British soldiers as Japanese Prisoners of War.
It is hard to see any up side to what they went through. But some did manage to find a way to make use of their time there and to make a difference.
