Prime Minister Keir Starmer met Donald Trump at one of the US president’s golf courses in Scotland on Monday, for wide ranging talks on trade and global affairs.
Speaking on the steps of his Turnberry resort, accompanied by the sound of bagpipes, Trump hailed the pair’s relationship as "unparalleled", claiming: "We want to make the prime minister happy."
As he arrived for the talks, Trump took a series of questions from journalists , who were keen to question the pair on what they would be discussing during the visit.
