ITV News understands that there are four more prisoners who are still at large after being mistakenly released.
It comes on the day that another prisoner – Algerian national Brahim Khaddour-Cherif – was re-arrested by police after wrongly set free by HMP Wandsworth.
It places yet more pressure on Justice Secretary David Lammy.
Today he admitted there was "a mountain to climb" to tackle the crisis in England and Wales’ prison system.
