The King and Pope will pray together in Sistine Chapel, the first time the British monarch and head of the Roman Catholic church have done so in 500 years.
Charles and Camilla are on a state visit to the Vatican. This afternoon they will attend a service at the Basilica of St Paul’s Outside the Walls, the King will attend a reception at the Pontifical Beda College and the Queen will meet six Catholic sisters from the International Union of Superiors General.
