Sir Keir Starmer is providing an update from Downing Street on the unfolding conflict in the Middle East.
It comes as fighting entered its sixth day on Thursday, with military operations expanding into neighbouring areas with increasing aggression.
Israel has launched missiles at Tehran and Iranian-backed Hezbollah in Beirut – and Iran claims to have struck a US oil tanker in the Gulf.
In Qatar, air defences have intercepted Iranian missiles over Doha, while in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, air sirens have been heard through Thursday morning.
