The families of some of the surviving hostages released by Hamas yesterday are giving statements to the media for the first time this evening.
We’ll hear from:
– Iair Horn – who was released from captivity himself a few months ago – he’s the brother of captivity survivor Eitan Horn who was released yesterday.
– Lishay Miran-Lavi – wife of survivor Omri Miran
– Dani Miran – father of survivor Omri Miran
– Viki Cohen – mother of survivor Nimrod Cohen
– Anat Angrest – mother of survivor Matan Angrest
– Rivka Bohbot – wife of survivor Elkana Bohbot
– Liran Berman – sibling of survivors Gali and Ziv Berman
– Macabit Mayer – aunt of survivors Gali and Ziv Berman
Hamas released the 20 remaining living Israeli hostages on Monday as part of the first phase of the ceasefire deal.
However, it only returned the bodies of four of the 28 deceased captives, prompting some Israeli groups to call for the agreement to be suspended.
