The long-awaited final report from the Thirlwall Inquiry has been published today — more than a year after it was originally expected.
The independent inquiry has been examining how neonatal nurse Lucy Letby was able to murder seven babies and attempt to kill seven more.
Some of the findings include that "that some babies would have been saved and some attacks would have been prevented if action was taken earlier.”
The inquiry report will also detail recommendations to protect children moving forward.
