In the first King’s Speech in over 70 years, the monarch outlined Rishi Sunak’s key legislative priorities as the country years up for a general election.
Tougher sentences for the country’s most serious offenders and a crackdown on grooming took centre stage.
Members of Parliament as well as the PM and leader of the opposition will debate the speech in the House of Commons.
This process is known as "the Humble Address" and normally lasts about five days.
