White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is holding a news conference.
"We agree with Majorie Taylor Green", says Ms Jean-Pierre as she acknowledges that it is rare to find common ground with the Republican before – adding "This is not something we say often".
She says this is the first time the administration has "bizarrely" been attacked for reducing rural poverty through Bidenomics, following comments made by Ms Taylor Greene about the president’s economic policy.
