Former Prime Minister Liz Truss has lost her South West Norfolk seat as the Tory Party suffered its worst election result since 1906.

The South West Norfolk declaration, which was delayed as onlookers gave the Truss a sarcastically slow clap, delivered a hammer blow to the shortest-serving Prime Minister.
