Sir Keir Starmer insisted he would carry on as Prime Minister despite Labour suffering ‘tough’ local election losses.
He said he takes responsibility for the heavy losses but said that “days like this don’t weaken my resolve to deliver the change that I promised”.
Reform UK has made gains across the country, with leader Nigel Farage calling the wins "a truly historic shift in British politics”.
