A resident of Crans-Montana has told Sky News how the community is reacting to the fire, in which at least 40 people died.
"I don’t think there’s really a manual or any sort of preparation on how we can deal with it," one man said.
He added that people are finding it "really difficult" in the tight-knit community, as "everyone knows everyone, and we’re all impacted in one way or another".
