The father of a 14-year-old girl who was sexually assaulted by an asylum seeker in Essex said he has received an apology from David Lammy — but is still looking for answers.
After weeks of waiting, the father finally met with the deputy PM on Thursday, telling ITV News he hoped it would bring him "some closure."
"I thought today would’ve given me some sort of closure and a bit of a clearer mind," he said. "But if I’m honest, it hasn’t. We didn’t get any answers, really."
