A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life following a series of suspected firebomb attacks on properties linked to Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Homeland Security Editor Mark White reports from Kentish Town, where one of the attacks targeted Starmer’s rented private home. Two other incidents — including a vehicle fire and a blaze at a separate property in Islington — are also being investigated as part of a coordinated campaign.
Government Security Adviser Chris Phillips joins the discussion, warning that while the events are serious, “we mustn’t overreact.” He says it is impossible to secure every property linked to public figures and urges calm, vigilance, and public awareness.
