South Koreans have attended a candlelight vigil in Seoul calling for the resignation of President Yoon Suk Yeol after his surprise declaration of martial law.
The president now faces impeachment proceedings after a rushed vote to block the order by MPs, who forced their way into the National Assembly, forced him to backtrack.
