‘We will never forget’: UK marks 80 years since VE Day

King Charles and other senior Royals have paid tribute to veterans of the Second World War, and those who gave their lives, on the 80th anniversary of Europe’s victory over the Nazis.

The King laid a wreath with the message "We will never forget" during a special service at Westminster Abbey, while a two minute silence and other events were held across the country.
