Edinburgh and Leeds will host the opening stages of the men’s and women’s Tour de France in 2027.

The first stage of the men’s race will start in Edinburgh and finish in Cardiff, with the women’s Tour kicking off from Leeds and ending in London
It marks the first time both races will start in the same country outside of France.
