In 2007, we filmed the late great country star Dolly Parton visiting the South Yorkshire town of Rotherham.
She went there to launch a scheme to improve child literacy, and talk about the need to distribute literature to under-priveleged children.
During her trip she met new parents Claire and Shane Jarman and held their newborn baby Emma, and spoke to us about her life and love of books.
Here’s our archive footage from the time.
