King Charles has taken the dramatic decision to formally strip his brother Andrew of his Prince and Duke of York titles and HRH style, following continued public outrage over his ties to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and related sexual assault allegations.
However, Andrew will not move from his Windsor mansion to Sandringham until after Christmas, as the process of giving up the property is expected to be lengthy.
Andrew, who denies the claims, has agreed to vacate his 30-room Windsor home, and it is understood that Charles will make private financial provisions for his brother.
