The US has launched several strikes against ‘Islamic State’ militants in Nigeria. In a post on Truth Social, President Donald Trump said he had ordered the deadly attacks against the armed groups after accusing them of persecuting Christians. Nigeria’s government says Islamist insurgents target both Christians and Muslims in the country.
