What should you do if you've received an Asos 'hack' notification?

Thousands of Asos customers have been sent a phone alert saying the retailer has been hacked. Customers received a mobile app notification on October 8, titled “Asos hacked”, which directed them to a Telegram account. The alleged hack refers to cloud firm Snowflake, which stores data for many major companies. Shares in the company tumbled by more than 10% on Tuesday morning as a result. The company has been contacted for comment. Cybersecurity expert Charlotte Wilson offers her advice to people on what they should do if they’ve received the notification.
