As well as temperatures – UV levels and pollen levels are high in many areas too – and fresh heat health alerts have been issued for some areas.
Hosepipe bans have been announced for parts of the UK this week as a series of heatwaves and dry weather have led to record-breaking water demand.
The current heatwave is likely to end through Monday and into Tuesday.
Sunday will gradually start to turn a little cooler and cloudier in the north and east and by Monday we see the risk of some showers and thunderstorms in places.
