On Sunday, Chileans will head to the ballot box to elect a new president. For the first time since 2012, voting will be mandatory; those who do not vote will be fined. At a time when concerns over immigration and crime are at the forefront of voters’ minds, Chile’s governing leftist coalition is up against an array of right-wing challengers.
