The White House has announced the largest-ever US weapons sale to Taiwan, worth over 11 billion dollars. It’s the second bilateral deal under the current Trump administration, and it prompted a furious response from Beijing, who said it "undermined China’s sovereignty, security and territorial integrity." Beijing has been ramping up military and diplomatic pressure on Taiwan, which China claims as its territory.
