One crew member has been rescued after an American aircraft was shot down in Iran, according to US and Israeli officials.
Sources say the pilot is believed to be alive, in US custody and receiving medical treatment.
It’s not clear what the status of the second crew member is as search and rescue operations continue after the F-15E jet went down over southwest Iran.
Iran’s state TV released photos of the wreckage and urged Iranians to deliver any "enemy pilot" to police for a "precious prize."
