Russia and Ukraine have agreed to a ceasefire in the Black Sea and will halt attacks on each other’s energy infrastructure, the White House has said.
The ceasefire will essentially ban naval warfare, with the US and Russia continuing to work toward "lasting peace", the statement added.
US experts have met separately with Ukrainian and Russian representatives in Riyadh over the last couple of days, and the White House issued separate joint statements about the talks with Ukraine and Russia.
