WHO warns Israel to protect health care as airstrikes hit close to hospitals in Gaza

The Palestine Red Crescent says four of its members have been killed in a strike on an ambulance in central Gaza.

The Israeli war cabinet is also reported to be meeting to discuss a proposal for a hostage release and ceasefire. Hamas says it will not return any of the Israeli hostages unless there is a complete end to the war.
