The 7 October attack by Hamas killed 1,195 people, according to Israeli authorities, including 815 civilians.
Israel’s subsequent invasion of Gaza has since claimed the lives of at least 46,707 Palestinians, according to the Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza, and 405 Israeli soldiers, according to the Israeli military.
