US President Donald Trump says he will increase tariffs on EU goods to 50% from next month and he has threatened Apple with 25% tariffs on iPhones made outside the United States.
In a post on his Truth Social platform on Friday, Trump said the European Union had "very difficult to deal with" and that discussions with the bloc were proving unproductive.
His threat was accompanied by a demand that Apple make its iPhones in the United States or face a 25% tariff.
