Keir Starmer looks "insecure" as the Prime Minister confirms the government has abandoned plans to cancel local elections.
The government were told the move would be illegal.
Speaking on GB News, Tom Harwood said Starmer would lose support from his closest allies within Labour as a result.
He said: "You break relationships with your members of Parliament and particularly your ministers, if you march them up to the top of the hill to defend something difficult and they make a fool of themselves on television or on the radio, and then they humiliatingly have to march themselves down the hill again."
