Experts have told Sky News the decision to lend Britain the Bayeux Tapestry could end in disaster.
The medieval masterpiece, which portrays the Battle of Hastings in 1066, will go on display at the British Museum later this year.
But the move has proved controversial, with experts warning the delicate fabric could be damaged while being transported to the UK.
