With threats such as extreme weather, cyber attacks and global conflict – these are certainly anxious times.

Just a few weeks ago, a government minister spoke about storing a bit of food for emergencies.

Now there is evidence of a growing interest in stockpiling emergency supplies, and some within the food industry are calling on the government to do more.
