There are rising tensions between Washington and Tehran. The US president has threatened to intervene against the crackdown on growing anti-government demonstrations across Iran.
In a misspelt social media post, President Trump warned: "If Iran shoots and violently kills peaceful protesters, which is their custom, the United States of America will come to their rescue. We are locked and loaded and ready to go".
