England Manager Sarina Wiegman has told ITV News she believes certain players are “best to come from the bench," as she prepares to name her starting 11 for Sunday’s Euros final against Spain.
Last-gasp goals from the Lionesses’ “finishers” – including 19-year-old breakout star Michelle Agyemang – have rescued Wiegman’s side from a tournament exit.
But asked if she would consider making changes and starting some of her roster of talent substitutes, Wiegman told ITV News: “I think that it’s different when you’re a starter, or when you’re a finisher."
