Across Southern Europe firefighters have been battling to contain massive wildfires fuelled by blistering temperatures and dry conditions. At least 14 people are dead.
In the area around Bursa in Turkey, over 3 thousand people were forced to flee their homes. The country also recorded its highest ever temperature of over 50 Celsius. While homes were also evacuated in the suburbs of Athens.
