Wildfires kill two people in North of Spain

An ‘extremely violent’ wildfire has erupted in Spain’s Catalonia region, killing two people.

The blaze erupted during Europe’s severe heatwave, with temperatures reaching 46°C – a national record for June.
14,000 people were ordered to stay indoors as the fire affected an area stretching nearly 40 kilometres.
