Wildlife turns blue after chemical spill in São Paulo river

Authorities in Brazil have launched an investigation after a truck accident caused chemicals to spill into a river, turning the water bright blue and covering animals in blue dye.

Ducks and geese were dyed blue and survived but numerous fish died in the river in Sao Paulo. Contamination levels are being monitored along the course of the stream.
