Will Cameroon's largely young population back its 92-year-old president's bid to seek an 8th term?

Cameroon’s 92-year-old President Paul Biya has announced he will seek an eighth term in power. Elections are scheduled for October.
Biya’s decision to stand comes amid speculation he would not run. Biya has had frequent health problems and spends much of his time abroad. In a post on social media, Biya promised that "the best is yet to come." He is Africa’s second longest serving president, having first come to power in 1982.
